Lorenzo Gritti

Born in Milan, he worked as an educator with minors in group homes and schools for over 10 years. He then attended the Mi-Master’s course in Editorial Illustration and decided to completely devote himself to illustration. He started working with the Purple Rain Illustrators agency, which found him his first jobs overseas. He soon received several commissions from the United States, including from Google, The New Yorker, The New York Times, GQ, The Wall Street Journal, Airbnb, Penguin, Bloomberg Businessweek, Scientific American, National Public Radio, Variety. In Italy he worked with Corriere della Sera, Domus, Icon Design, Il Sole 24 ore and many other publications. His illustrations also graced the pages of magazines in the UK, Australia, Brazil, Denmark, the Czech Republic, France and Germany. In 2017, his portrait series “Quick Portraits” was awarded the Gold Medal of the Society of Illustrators, New York. He currently teaches Editorial Illustration at IED in Turin and at Mi-Master in Milan.
