Spiros: a design object for everyday use that is simply extraordinary.
The essentiality of a project and absence of decoration have been the driving principles behind Vico Magistrettìs very long artistic production career, even though the master himself acknowledged that “simplicity is the most complex achievement in the world”.
Spiros results from a change in prospect, from the everyday to the unusual, transforming a non-descript item – a “broomstick” – into a design product which becomes deeply captivating thanks a few masterful elements.
There are two versions of this coat hanger: one to be rested against the wall, the other with a self-standing central base; both of them have a central solid ash wood post, onto which the spiral shaped pegs are fitted, also made of wood.
It has an open-pore painted wood structure, stained in black, red and natural bleached colour, a wooden base in the same colours or in a micaceous painted grey base for the self-supporting Spiros model.
Version 1 to be placed against the wall, version 2 freestanding with base in metal painted micaceous gray.
Creso: a sculptural table that surprises with its refined materials and graphic proportions.
Serenissimo: a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design.
Jot: a seat with an essential and sinuous line, designed by the metal structure.
Florian: a coffee table and a graphic object to hang on the wall like a masterpiece.
