Canica is born from an essential and universal form: the sphere. An almost perfect figure, present in nature and refined by human hands, which becomes the starting point of this proposal. Inspired by the transparency of the marble and the flash of color it holds within, this vanity translates that metaphor into a functional object that also appeals to emotion.
The noble material is presented in its purest state, with minimally treated surfaces that enhance its natural texture and convey calm and restraint. Upon this neutral base, strokes of intense color subtly emerge from the exterior, hinting at what lies within the piece. When the drawers are opened, the color is revealed in its full intensity, transforming an everyday gesture into an unexpected experience.
This same interplay between restraint and surprise is reflected in the form of the furniture. Like the marble itself—apparently simple yet rich in nuance—the piece is defined by subtle gestures and carefully considered proportions. Soft lines and organic curves give rise to a continuous, refined form. The mirror appears to float above the surface, reinforcing the lightness of the whole, while the drawers integrate almost invisibly into the main structure, maintaining a clean and uninterrupted reading of the volume.
