In a surprising mix of shape and functionality, Moon stands out for a design approach that experiments in new ways the concepts of design and ergonomics, conveying an extraordinary feeling of lightness and weightlessness.
The chair was designed following the principles of Scandinavian functional and ergonomic design where all unloading points are on the knees: lightening the load on the spine, it favours a natural and active back posture also thanks to the oscillation movements allowed by the structure.
Moon consists of a suitably sized polypropylene monocoque with variable thicknesses at different points ensuring mechanical strength, durability and adaptability to the weight of people. In correspondence with the support points, inserts in neoprene have been designed, a very comfortable, soft and non-deformable material, which favours the decompression of loads. The seat is designed to distribute the weight in the least sensitive points, also thanks to the induction of a perpetual oscillation movement.
The shell - available in the colours White, Beige, Umbra Grey, Olive Green - and the fabric upholstery of the pads can be customised according to tastes and the destination environment, allowing to create tone-on-tone or contrasting combinations with lively, original and funny results.
