Every year, sectoral professionals and design afficionados travel to Milan from all over the world to visit the Salone. As of 16th April, a series of information points will be set up at focal points throughout the city, manned by 100 students from Milan’s leading design schools.
Information desks are located at:
Malpensa airport, Arrivals A e B - Linate Airport - Milano Cadorna Metro station - La Triennale di Milano (Viale Alemagna 6) - Central Station - Superstudio Più (via Tortona) - Rho-Fiera Metro station - Largo La Foppa - Largo Treves
The information points are set up in partnership with Fiera Milano, the Milan Airports Authority SEA and Milan’s public transport service ATM. They will provide information on mobility, on the Salone and on the palimpsest of events in Milan arranged by the Department of Employment, Economic Development, University and Research Policies.
The Welcome Project derives from a partnership between the Salone del Mobile.Milano, the Municipality of Milan, the Department of Employment, Economic Development, University and Research Policies, Fondazione Fiera Milano and the city’s leading design schools - Domus Academy, the IED Institute of European Design, the Marangoni Institute, Milan’s NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti and the Polytechnic University of Milan/Design School.
