Dynamic and Interna by dnd handles

The Dynamic and Interna system

Dynamic is a closing system for swing doors, without locking, integrating a magnetic attraction support: thanks to it, the door or panel no longer needs a locking mechanism. It consists of a base that houses the magnet, a brass cover - available in all finishes in the catalog - and a support on the opposite pole that locks the door.

Interna, designed by Giulio Iacchetti, is a zamak handle that comes with the new system: it is a minimal object, with a circular profile, designed to be inserted into the door panel and accommodate the hand inside a practical, beveled concavity. A new and intuitive gesture of relationship with the door.

Vertical by dnd handles

The Vertical locking system

It is a closing system for swing doors with high-profile technological and aesthetic solutions: no screws on the front, minimal sign, possibility to coordinate the finishes of the cover with those of the handle.

The absence of screws generates an unprecedented and total harmony between handle and lock, made possible by applying all the finishes from the Dnd catalog. Functional and flexible, the Vertical system is a kind of "invisible lock". This product has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2023, the volume that collects the projects competing for the Compasso d'Oro ADI 2024 Award.

Giulio Iacchetti

The artistic direction

Since 2017, Dnd appointed Giulio Iacchetti as its art director: a very talented industrial designer, involved in the development of the catalogue, the strategy, the selection of designers and consultants to be involved.

An important assignment, thanks to which Dnd intends to carry on, spending the utmost care and attention, with the growth path that makes it increasingly present in the world of home design.

Elena Salmistraro

Elena Salmistraro

Product designer and artist, she lives and works in Milan. She graduated in industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano and in 2009 founded her studio that works in architecture and design, collaborating as a product designer and illustrator with many companies in the creative industry.

She is interested in developing work that combines illustration, design and visual arts, through which she intends to define a personal code of communication. Among the priorities of her creations, emerge attention to detail and the harmonious search for forms pursued in anthropomorphism and primitivism. An excess of graphic symbols gives the object a stereoscopic image, transporting it into a territory suspended between fantasy and reality. Her designs have been selected for several international exhibitions.

In 2017, he won the "Salone del Mobile Milano Award" as "Best young designer". Since 2107, the Ministero degli affari esteri, appointed her as Ambassador of Italian design in the world.

In 2018 she was appointed Ambassador of Brera Design District. Also in 2018, she won the "Icon Award" at Marmomac (Verona).

In 2020, with the Chimera project designed for Cedit-Ceramiche d'Italia, she wins the important international "Good Design Awards".

In 2021 the Spire washbasin designed for Ceramica Flaminia wins the prestigious "ADI Ceramic & Bathroom Award".

Gabriele & Oscar Buratti

Gabriele & Oscar Buratti

Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of Interior Design at the Faculty of Design of Politecnico di Milano (2003-2010), e Oscar Buratti, architect, form the architecture and design studio BURATTI ARCHITETTI.

The studio is transversally involved in projects of different scales, from the architecture of buildings and urban areas to interiors of houses and commercial spaces, from the design of furniture and lighting to the exhibition and showroom design, in an intense and varied professional path, in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and workmanship, mingle together contaminating one another.

Park Associati

Park Associati

Park Associati, founded in 2000 by Filippo Paliani and Michele Rossi, focuses its activity on architectural design, urban planning, interior and product design.

Park Associati’s approach to architecture is analytical, pragmatic and tailored, strong in tradition but capable of generating new linguistic codes through a process that combines listening, intuition and experimentation. While listening to the concrete elements dictated by regulations and budget constraints and environmental conditions, attention is also paid to the intangible dimensions: the clients’ identity values, the urban, social, and political context. Intuition brings quality and value to projects and, accompanied by the analytical process, enables the contexts’ complexity to be deciphered through the implementation of original solutions.

Typological, formal and language experimentation, the cooperation with other disciplines, in short research, are at the heart of the studio‘s thinking, which takes shape in the Park Plus applied research unit.
