Technical regulations and Regulations for the design of stand
Important: set up and dismantling regulations
The Ministerial Decree of 22nd July 2014, circulated with Italian Official Journal no. 183 of 08/08/2014, relating to the set up and dismantling regulations for trade shows.
All exhibitors must have sight of the decree, which basically stipulates that all the following installations should be considered to be ‘worksites’ and therefore subject to all legal obligations (as per Art. IV, Law 81/08):
• are 6.50 metres or more in height;
• include intermediate floors measuring 100 m2 or more;
• include tented structures not produced by one single manufacturer and/or are 8.50 metres or more in height.
Stands that do not conform to the above specifications are not considered to be worksites and therefore remain subject to the provisions set out in the Unified Document for Assessment of Interferential Risks (DUVRI), when work, services and supplies are provided by contractors or self-employed workers.
In this section you can download information on these rules, guidance on where to seek further information, guidelines on the wording of the DUVRI and a facsimile of the Document itself.
